New to CrossFit 

Our FUNDAMENTALS course is the best way to get involved.  CrossFit has a large variety of movements.  Some require ranges of movement that aren’t common and others are technical.  Because of this, if you’re relatively new to CrossFit and haven’t got recent experience of olympic weightlifting (snatch, clean+jerk) or bodyweight disciplines (gymnastics, calisthenics, parkour) then we recommend you follow this route.  Even those with experience but returning from time out would benefit from this slower paced, coached route in.

We cover everything you need to know to join in a CrossFit class – feeling safe and confident.  The Fundamentals course is 3 x 1hr (or 2 x 1.5hrs for the fast-track version) – check our timetable to see when they run.  If you want to try CrossFit and are ready to give it a go for a month then sign up now – you can book the Fundamentals course as soon as you have signed up.  You can still book onto our normal CrossFit classes straight away as well so you can  practice in class the things you are learning on the course.

If you want a taste of what it’s all about then come and join us for a FREE TRIAL class.  This is a normal CrossFit class so you’ll join or other members and get a chance to meet people and see how it works.  Our coaches will welcome you to the box, have a chat with you before class and make sure that you have options for the workout that suit you current level of ability.

Interested but still a bit nervous?  You really don’t need to be.  But we understand sometimes starting something new can be daunting.  If you would rather have a PRIVATE SESSION to learn the basics you can book in with one of our coaches.  Better still – if you have a partner or few friends that want to join, we will do a PRIVATE GROUP session for you and the cost is the same so you’ll save money.

Experienced with CrossFit

  • Done 10 or more CrossFit classes (at any other CrossFit Affiliate), OR,
  • Experienced with olympic lifts (Snatch & Clean+Jerk), OR,
  • Experienced Bodyweight athlete (Gymnast, Calisthenics, Parkour)
